Capturing every milestone from 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 2 years and beyond.

I say it all the time… your little ones are only this little once.

One day you'll blink and that tiny baby will be running, talking, and heading off to school. Milestone sessions are a chance to slow down and preserve each stage before it slips away—from sweet three-month smiles, to sitting up on their own, to celebrating that exciting first birthday and all the years that follow.

Whether we're capturing a simple milestone session, a playful cake smash, or updated birthday portraits each year, my goal is always the same: to document your child's personality exactly as they are in this season of life. And selfishly, I love watching your children grow. You/they all become part of my growing BKP family that I truly adore.

Every session is relaxed, fun, and completely baby or child led. There is never any pressure to smile or perform. Some children are full of giggles, while others are quiet observers—and every personality is worth celebrating.

Milestone Session Pricing

Session Fee: $495 + tax

Whether you’re celebrating your baby’s first smiles, sitting up independently, a first birthday, or another special year, every milestone session is designed to capture your child’s personality at this stage of life.

Your session includes:

  • Approximately 1-hour session

  • Custom-themed indoor studio session or outdoor sunset location

  • Studio wardrobe available for babies and young children

  • Props and styling

  • Choice of 10 high-resolution, hand-edited digital photos

First Birthday Sessions Also Include:

  • First birthday portraits

  • Cake smash fun

  • Splash bath with plastic bubbles, rubber duckies or flowers

    Parents simply provide the cake.

Cake Smash FAQ

  • Most sessions last 45–60 minutes. We move through portraits → cake smash → splash bath at a relaxed, baby-led pace.

  • Yes — parents provide the cake due to allergy considerations. I’ll send guidance on size, colors, and style so it matches your theme perfectly.

  • Outdoor cake smash sessions automatically include family photos.
   For indoor sessions, you can add a family portrait on a simple solid backdrop (the themed cake smash setup isn’t large enough to fit families).

  • You’re welcome to bring your own outfits, and/or use mine.
You’ll have access to my curated milestone and cake smash wardrobe, filled with adorable pieces that photograph beautifully.

  • Yes!

    • Outdoor sessions: Include one outfit change.

    • Indoor sessions: We usually begin with 1–3 cute outfits for portraits, switch to a cake-smash-friendly outfit (something that can get messy!), and end with just a diaper for the bubble bath.

  • No worries at all. Most families choose to include portraits + cake smash + splash bath, but you can leave out any portion.
Some photographers charge extra for each part — but I have so much fun doing them that they’re all included!

  • Totally normal — and honestly, adorable. Whether they gently poke or dive right in, we capture authentic reactions that parents love.
I recommend bringing a few small snacks your baby enjoys. We can tuck them into the back of the cake so it still lookslike they’re smashing it.
It also helps to let your baby taste cake or a cupcake before the session so they’re not surprised by a new flavor on photo day.

  • Most families book between 11–11.5 months, so your final gallery is ready in time for birthday parties, invitations, and sharing with family.

  • After you view your gallery, you will have the option to purchase additional digital photos at a discounted rate. I also offer prints, collections, and keepsake products. There's absolutely no pressure...you choose what works best for your family.
